We help people with barriers build
independence and help improve their
quality of life.

At Goodwill we provide a variety of support services for adults and youth to help give them the tools necessary to sharpen their skills, meet new challenges, and create more rewarding and independent lives.

From services for individuals with disabilities, to job training and placement services, both short and long term, we help individuals with disabilities and other barriers to self-sufficiency, to develop the skills to take advantage of opportunities in the job market and improve their quality of life. Each year hundreds of individuals participate in Goodwill programs, and area businesses and other organizations partner with Goodwill to help ensure that everyone who enrolls in a Goodwill program gets the best chance for achieving their goals and being successful.

In South Dakota, Goodwill works in collaboration with the South Dakota Homeless Coalition by participating in the Veteran’s Stand Down. The event provides a variety of services and resources for veterans, and Goodwill helps plan and coordinate the events in Sioux Falls and Rapid City, along with providing free shoes, clothing and blankets to those in need.

At Goodwill in Sioux Falls, SD we also collaborate with the South Dakota Network Against Family Violence and Sexual Assault to help victims of domestic violence get back on their feet by providing job readiness training for victims of domestic violence.
