Spring is here and that can only mean one of a few things at Goodwill. The one which comes to mind is Camp Goodwill is right around the corner and I am excited to tell you about our future plans at camp. We are so very blessed by the generosity of our donors, staff and volunteers who look forward to making a positive impact on the work we do. Camp has a special group of “supporters” who want the very best for the children who call camp home each summer. The exciting news I would like to tell you about is the addition of our Camp Goodwill Achievement Center. This new building is taking shape with ground breaking scheduled for Mid-August of 2009. This building will replace our “rustic” (current) dining hall and will also enable us to do multiple programs for children, adults, businesses and churches. You will hear much more about this in the very near future and if you would like to support this part of our mission, please give me a call.
